5 Signs You Are Spiritually Awaken

You’ve probably heard the term to spiritually awaken or to be awake but what is it actually referring to? This term is a common one within the spiritual community. However, it may not be fully understood as to what it actually is.

To have an awakening or to be spiritually awaken can be one of the most liberating experiences you have. All of a sudden you have a new awareness of the world and you never look at it the same way again.

It can also be uncomfortable and bring up difficult emotions. But once you are awake you can never go back and you wouldn’t want to ever go back to what you knew before. So, what does it mean to be spiritually awake?

1. To Spiritually Awaken Means Unlearning Everything That You Know & Re-Learning What You Forgot

When you come to earth and incarnate into a physical body, you forget everything. The veil is put over you so that you can have a certain experience here on earth. If you remembered and had a broader view (as your higher self does) then you wouldn’t have the same experience. So, you choose to forget.

Because you forget, you are taught new things as you grow up. You take on the beliefs of your parents, friends, teachers, co-workers and people in your environment. You often take on your parents’ beliefs and any role models you have as you trust them and look up to them.

But as you get older, you start to develop your own personality and all of a sudden, certain things don’t make sense or feel right to you anymore. So, you break free from those old limiting beliefs and start to develop new more empowering beliefs.

You basically go through a period where you unlearn everything you’ve been told and re-learn what you forgot before you incarnated. This is why some information feels so right to you. Your intuition tells you it’s meant for you even when you have no proof. This is essentially your soul remembering its truth.

Many people think that awakening is developing new beliefs and views. While this is somewhat true, it is more about remember everything you forgot when you crossed the veil into the third dimension.

2. To Spiritually Awaken Means Trusting Your Intuition (More Than What People Or The News Tells You Is Right)

When you are awake you feel truth and trust your gut more than what someone says. Anyone can say anything and not everyone has your best interests at heart. Some people are just out for power and control. These people can try and manipulate you through their words by saying what they think you want to hear.

But when you are awake, you can see right though it. How? Something feels off even if you don’t know what it is. You gut feeling (intuition) tells you that something isn’t right.

So, the be spiritually awake means you trust in your own intuition and how something feels. You question what others are saying and don’t blindly accept their information because they supposedly have your best interest at heart. You stand in your own power and trust in what you feel even without any evidence of it.

Being awake is truly about being a sovereign being, digging for your own information and trusting in how you feel.

3. Being Awake Is About Not Seeing Everything As Black & White

When you are spiritually awaken, you take in information without saying, “this is the way it is and the only way it can be.” You know that nothing is set in stone and that not everything you hear is 100% accurate. You take pieces of different information and use it like puzzle pieces to form your own picture.

You know that things aren’t always certain and that things can change. For example, if you are awake and you get a psychic reading, you know that it’s not 100% set in stone. You listen to the information but know that it can change due to many factors. You also understand that the psychic is human and how they are interpreting it comes through their own personal filter. They are probably doing the best they can but there are always different perspectives to look at and what they say may or may not happen, but it is often different than how they describe it. Also being aware that timing can and usually does change as well.

Essentially when you awake you begin to look at different perspectives and take what feels right and let the rest go. You know no person is 100% right and there is always wiggle room and things can change.

4. To Spiritually Awaken Is To Re-Activate Your 12 Strands Of DNA (Vs. 2 Strands)

What is happening on the planet right now is that we are re-activating our 12 strands of DNA. When you are born you have 2 strands of DNA that are active and 10 strands that are dormant. We are collectively going through a huge ascension process where all the strands of DNA you have are becoming activated.

You already have 12 strands, but they aren’t all active. We have been supressed on this planet and certain people in power have tried to keep us dumbed down.

But now more and more light is coming onto the planet and we are going from a 3D experience to a 5D experience. What that means is that your body is changing as well. These are called ascension symptoms. You may have had some of these as your body upgrades in order to hold more light.

As your body upgrades and holds more light and your dormant DNA becomes activated, many wonderful things will happen to you. Things such as less pain, more energy, a lighter body, more easily able to work with your intuitive/psychic gifts and being able to manifest quicker.

5. To Spiritually Awaken Is To Move Past Old Outdated Structures That Don’t Work Anymore (& Never Really Did)

When you wake up you begin to see how all these systems no longer work and never did. You see the flaws in the government systems, the school systems, the banking system, etc. This may cause you to want to help re-build the new systems.

You see, all these systems will crash and currently are being tore down. We’ll have to re-build them into much better systems. When you are spiritually awake you can see that you’d never want to rebuild them the way they were and you know that they have to be rebuilt in a different, new more empowering way.

You wake up to the fact that these systems didn’t benefit you, they only benefitted a few people in power. You don’t want to continue playing along and doing things the same old way. You know that things have to be different going forwards in order to create the beautiful world that we all want.

Bottom Line – Being Spiritually Awake Is About Remembering

Waking up is much more about remembering everything you forgot as you incarnated into 3D than it is about developing new belief systems. You see, everything is within you and awakening is simply uncovering all those things that you forgot.

When you go through your awakening, it may temporarily feel uncomfortable, but it also feels very, very right. Everything that you remember feels good and true to your soul. You know that you’d never want to go back to being asleep ever again and that you can never go back. Now you know too much and your soul feels more whole and complete remembering the truth that it had forgotten for so long.

So even if things do get uncomfortable, embrace the journey. Trust in the feeling you get in your soul and trust in your own intuition. Your intuition is the part of you that feels right even when you have no proof. It doesn’t always make logical sense to your brain, but it feels like your truth.

Enjoy the spiritual awakening journey and know that you will go through levels of awakening your whole life. Each time builds upon the next and brings you closer and closer to remembering what your soul already knows.
