As a Gemini, I notice that I can be quite different from other people. The things that drive me crazy don’t seem to bother other people. And at times I often don’t understand why I make the decisions I do and why I do the things I do. But I also love being a Gemini! I have compiled a list of the characteristics that only Geminis understand, Enjoy!
1. We Are Fickle
This is number 1 for a reason. Geminis make a decision and then two minutes later they change their minds. Then they change them back! It is a constant back and forth. Geminis are so good at seeing the good in both sides that it is often hard for them to pick a side and stick with it. I do this quite often and don’t know how to stop!
2. We LOVE Our Freedom
What is life without freedom? As a Gemini, freedom is what drives me most days. Geminis are super independent and even a bit rebellious at times. They do this because they NEED their freedom. Geminis love their freedom and being able to do what they want. I’ve found for me that this is the number 1 thing I need in my life as a Gemini.
3. We Are Constantly Bored
Why do Geminis have to get so bored with things? Why can’t we just be happy doing ordinary things everyday? Well because we are definitely not ordinary. As a Gemini, I’ve found that I’ve often been bored throughout my life. We love to keep changing things up so we don’t experience that boredom. I think that is one reason I enjoy CrossFit so much. Every workout is different and I’m never bored.
4. We Have So Many Projects on the Go and So Many of Them Will Forever Be Unfinished
We aren’t proud of the fact that it is difficult to finish a project. If something is important to us we will follow through. But we lose interest in most projects after a short while. I can’t even get through this whole article without moving onto something else and then coming back to it and so on.
5. We Really Don’t Need Coffee or Energy Boosters
Geminis are usually full of energy all day long and hate standing still. Geminis love to move around; it is how they feel their best. They don’t need stimulants to get going, it comes naturally.
6. Slow People Drive Us Crazy!
Geminis are ruled by the planet Mercury which is the fastest sign in the zodiac. Geminis are very quick and like to do things quickly. So, we are always bouncing from one thing to the next and when someone slow gets in our way it really aggravates us. We have a very hard time understanding how someone can be so slow. Aren’t you in a hurry to get somewhere!? It is so confusing.
7. We are Super Ambitious
Geminis are always up for a good challenge and are very driven with their goals in life. If something is important to us we are super motivated to make it happen, unless we get bored of it and move on! But if something can keep our interest we fully dive in and commit to it.
8. We Love Our Personal Space
Geminis enjoy being around others and talking to others but they also need their personal space. They need this space to analyze everything that has happened in their day and to think about things. Geminis need this personal space to be by themselves and just think.
9. We Are Extremely Open Minded
Geminis are always willing to hear someone’s opinion. We don’t think our way is the only way. We love learning new things and hearing what other people have to say.
10. We Love Learning
Google is a Geminis best friend. I know I’d much rather be learning something than watching tv. Geminis are always curious and enjoy learning new things.
11. We Have Serious Commitment Issues
Don’t ask a Gemini to sign a contract that commits them to anything more than a month. Commitment feels very restraining to a Gemini. I know I get some serious anxiety about commitment. What if I change my mind in a month and am locked into something for a year against my will? It is not happening. However, if something is right a Gemini will stick with it for a long time but don’t force them into a contract.
If you are a Gemini, I’m sure you can relate to most of this list. Different factors play into someone’s personality such as moon and ascending signs also. However, being a Gemini these are the characteristics I can relate to the most. If you are thinking of dating a Gemini or are friends with one, they are truly amazing people! Don’t let this list scare you, it is what makes them unique 🙂
